Really Great Investment.
Date: September 2, 2009
"The set up was very easy by the Easy Set up process. I was looking at the R1900 at first but thought that the extra money for this model would be a better investment.
After 4 weeks of heavy use and ordering more Matte Black - I'm impressed with the results. The ink is smaller than my old Epson 2200 and I wished they we're the same size - because the Black Matte is used up twice as fast as the rest of the ink. So I suggest oredering at least 3 extra with your intial order
Since my hobby is "music" and I design my cd's and the Jewel Case with the software from Corel Draw X4 (I started with Corel 4 many years ago). I wanted to get away from the Labels that stick on and print directly on the cd.
First - it printed the CD's perfectly and the color was SUPER when I used the Premium setting for the CD in the print setup of the CD software, rather than the default setting. Since I use my own art work, the software is easy to use to bring it in and if the center hole is 12mm or needs to be Custom made, it is not that hard to comprehind. You must buy "printable" cd's and they come in Matte, Glossy and White finish. The Matte is really the best for me. The key to use this is to follow the instructions and you'll have little or no problems. As they say "Read The Instructions First"
It looks like I bought the CD from the store. I highly recommend this great printer. It does Color printing and Black and White extremly well also."

Good Purchase But Some Dissappointment
Date: May 7, 2009
"I love this printer - the print quality. But like some of the previous reviewers, I too have had problems with heaver paper and the manual tray. My first try with the heavy paper was a success, but when I tried it again, I kept getting error messages.
I still do not regret purchasing this printer; it is fast and the colors are awesome! In addition, I can now print on glossy paper. My previous printer was a R2200 which did not allow me to print on glossy (even though it is not my favorite paper). I will keep trying with the various papers hopefully I will figure out the problem."

Spectacular
Date: May 1, 2009
"While I can't speak to product reliability (I've had it for a day and run off three prints!), I am simply stunned by the print quality. I ran off three different prints on Epson A3 (11.7 x 16.6 in) Premium Luster paper and am just blown away (the paper, by the way, is gorgeous). My monitor is calibrated with a Spyder3 and, using the downloaded ICC profiles from Epson, the photos are dead-on printed in Photoshop CS4. Colors are perfect. The one B&W print is magnificent. Not a single glitch getting it up and running and I'll be able to speak about reliability soon...I will be printing A LOT!"

"Quality is FANTASTIC!!!!!! Quite pricey but worth it cause the outcome is superb. I am not a professional photographer by any means, just a stay at home mom that wants quality photos to last for a lifetime. Pictures are of postcard quality and colors and wonderful - to the T. Would highly recommend to anyone. Borderless capabilities are a plus too if you are a scrapbook fanatic. GREAT BUY!!!!"
