"Is slower then most people are wanting. But I had checked and read as much as possible prior to purchasing so I knew this draw back. At first I wanted it for the dvd print function but after printting a few photos was amazed to find how much more I can do with this unit and how great the photos were. I recommend this machine for anyone doing personal printing"
"Have had this printer for almost a year and a half. Used it extensively in photo program at community college. The quality is excellent. Am glad I got a custom icc profile from Cathy's Profiles as that has enabled me to get very accurate colors. Would recommend getting custom icc profiles rather than rely on the ones Epson supplies. Have used a lot of "compatible" ink cartridges and they have mostly worked fine, but now seem to be unavailable."
"I've been a fan of Epson for a long time - even before the digital photography craze. (Would you believe a FX-80 still in regular use?). I progressed from a Stylus Photo 1200 to a Stylus Photo 2200 and now the Stylus Photo 1400. The 1400 is the best of the bunch! Color is beautiful - tonal transitions unbelievably smooth, reproduction of the original color of the subject is outstanding! Especially like the CD/DVD print capability. Good show, Epson!"
"Three years ago I purchased a similar printer from a competitor and within a year it died on me. The company had stopped supporting the product.
I still needed a printer to print posters and so I considered the Epson and I am extremely happy that I did. Not only is this printer faster, but I am very happy with the quality of the print. I had no problem installing the equipment and during the last few days I have been making CDs and DVDs often and they really do look professional.
I am looking forward to using the printer at the Russian Festival to make our signs and posters. Perhaps I will also make some 11x17 prints from past Festivals so that our customers can see how good this printer is."
